“Smith Rock,” pastel
I’m happy to announce that I am now a member of Art and Soul Gallery in Ashland, Oregon, and I have an exhibition of my work there right now! The reception is TONIGHT, Friday, October 5, 2018, from 5–8 pm, in conjunction with the Ashland First Friday ArtWalk. My show is called, “Mountains and More, Paintings by Carla Griffin,” and includes paintings in oil and pastel. I hope you’ll be able to come by tonight or sometime in October to view my work and maybe even give a piece you love a new home.

Some kudos and more recent achievements pointed out by the gallery when sending out the announcement of my reception tonight:
“Carla has won numerous local awards for her art including Painting of the Year from Southern Oregon Society of Artists and Best of Show from the Josephine County Artists Association. Griffin has also been accepted into four Pastel Society of Oregon’s judged shows with awards in two of them and is now a Signature member. The Pastel Society of the West Coast also accepted an entry from Griffin.”
